Yes, I’m one of those people who does the cheesy thing of choosing a word for the year. And to top it all off, this year I have two instead of one!

My first word is discovery.

The Oxford Learner’s Dictionaries define this as an act or the process of finding somebody/something, or learning about something that was not known about before.

I am excited about all the new things that this year holds and the things I’ll find and learn about on the way. And for me that isn’t enough on its own. I want my discovery to lead to wonder which captures the surprise element involved and the joy!
